Alexis Hernandez-Rivera is an associate in the Tax Law Department. Mr. Hernandez-Rivera previously worked at the United States IRS's Office of Chief Counsel in Chicago, Illinois, where he gained exposure to complex tax issues and the particulars of the tax litigation. Mr. Hernandez-Rivera employs these skills while helping clients understand and navigate the specifics of the Puerto Rico tax laws. In his tax litigation practice, Mr. Hernandez-Rivera has assisted clients at all levels of our judicial system, including the Puerto Rico Supreme Court. His exposure and experience in both the federal and local tax jurisdictions prepare him to handle the particular challenges of the increasingly complex tax law practice in Puerto Rico.
