Rafael Antonio Velez-Perez is a shareholder and member of the Corporate and Banking Law Department. He has extensive experience in all types of mortgages loans, real estate and business transactions. At the present time he is in charge of residential loans division. His practice in business transactions has led him to intensive exposure to most types of contracts, deeds, financial and related legal and corporate documents. Mr. Rafael Velez has participated in multiple seminars to the banking and real estate industry and was appointed by the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico to the board in responsible of the preparation of the Bar examination on Notary Law. Rafael Velez has been instrumental in putting together several complex transactions involving millions of dollars in the Dominican Republic and is acquainted with CAFTA law. At the present time is a shareholder of the firm, in charge of residential loans division and operations in the Dominican Republic.
