Carlos A. Garcia-Perez is a shareholder in the Litigation and Trial Practice Department. Mr. Garcia-Perez's practice is heavily concentrated in the areas of commercial law including commercial litigation, distribution agreements, products liability, maritime law, arbitration and business acquisitions. Mr. Garcia-Perez also provides advice and counsel for commercial, real estate and financing transactions. Mr. Garcia-Perez has represented clients in disputes pertaining to trademarks, copyrights, defective products, breach of contract (distributorships, service contracts, purchase contracts, franchise agreements, Petroleum Marketing Practices Act claims and third party administrators). He also has represented clients in the acquisition of franchised businesses in the United States and Latin America. He has represented clients in the negotiation of distribution and franchise agreements in several Latin American countries.
